You may remember that last year's massive turnout for two immigration rights demonstrations (particularly the first one, attended by 500,000 marchers) was credited in part to one of L.A.'s top rated morning DJs, Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo (from KSCA-FM 101.9).
Piolin gained national attention for urging his listeners to join the cause. That's why I was surprised to see the above marchers carrying signs that appear to be criticizing Piolin -- or at least calling him a traitor. Pic was taken by Losanjealous' Ryan, who encountered the demonstration while roaming the streets of downtown.
Does anyone know the background of these signs? Did Piolin do something to tick off the marchers? Or are they upset over something else Piolin said or did?
