FRANKLIN AVENUE CONTEST: Win Tickets to the L.A. County Fair

It's already time for another year of the Los Angeles County Fair, which opens up this weekend (Sept. 4) in time for the Labor Day holiday, and continues through Oct. 3.

The year's fair includes new attractions like "Our Body: The Universe Within," "Esmeralda's Traveling Circus," "Western Days & Rodeo Nights," "LA in Ice: A Frozen Exhibit" and "The Enchanted Forest," as well as returnees including ""A Time Long Ago," the Flower & Garden Pavilion, "Mojo's Jungle," "A Pirate's Life," "Jurassic Planet," "Bark Park," "The Wine & Spirits Marketplace," "Garden Railroad" and "Plaza de las Américas."

We've got a pair of tix to the Fair to give away... just drop us a line telling us what you're looking forward to the most at this year's event.

And yes, that includes deep-fried food. Send your entry to our Franklin Avenue/Yahoo email address... and good luck!

Prices vary for tix; Adults 13+ are $12 on weekdays and $17 weekend. Group discounts are available, and kids and seniors are cheaper (with kids 5 and under free). Parking starts at $10.

Here are the Fair hours:
