Included are old clips of Astro Burger, the Disneyland monorail, the old Carnation building on Wilshire Boulevard, a Van de Kamps drive-in, Pioneer Takeout, Ship's, Norm's, Pann's and interview's with Bob Wian of Bob's Big Boy, Googie architect Eldon Davis and author Alan Hess. They explain what construction advance allowed the exterior walls of coffee shops to be glass.
